Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting an Economist for an initially 03 months contract based in London.Essential skills and requirements:
Economic Analysis, Financial Analysis, Business Case Modelling
The successful candidates will be expected to act as mentors for junior economist team members.
Lead for the economic and financial cases (across industry and government) for various industry/government growth opportunities.
Lead on the economic appraisal for proposed activity, ensuring cost benefit analysis is calculated against all options according to the agreed benefits
Undertake NPV and optimum bias assessment aligned to assessed risk
Lead on the financial case to ensure the resulting Outline Business Case clarifies the source of any funding and that the bid is affordable.
The team is an outward-facing one, and the successful applicant will be expected to proactively work with colleagues across the Agency and externally.
This external engagement will involve discussions with industry, academia, and with colleagues working in international organisations.
