Role Purpose: Our Client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in the Pharma commercial environment. In support of a project managed by the Pharma Healthcare Compliance Office (pHCO)
Responsibilities:
* One of the goals in Client's IT is assessing the solution landscape and the business needs for the future years and define an IT road-map for pHCO.
* He/she shall work together with the team that is managing this project, in order to help define a medium-long term IT road-map.
* The candidate will perform analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers.
* He/She will provide consultancy and support in defining and documenting the outcome of strategic analysis, by working on his/her own, but also by taking part in meetings with the IT team and business representatives.
Tasks:
* Developing business-specific organizational solutions
* Dealing with organizational problems
* Focusing in particular on process organization and single tasks
* Outcome of the strategic analysis, which includes preparing high level project proposals with business cases (project cost vs anticipated financial benefits and business risk reduction)
* S/he will be working on his/her own, but also take part in meetings with the IT team and business representatives
Required Skills:
* 8+ years of experience in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, at both strategic and tactical level
* Strong synthesis and presentation skills
* Business process modelling skills
* Able to document business cases
* Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
* Experience in defining IT roadmaps
* Experience in interacting with senior management
* Proven track of records (mandatory)
* Able to deal with a steep learning curve about the scope of the assessment and to become productive in a very short time
Nice to have:
* Experience in working with IT road-maps
* IT Experience in area of Approval processes for "Transfers of Value" to Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organizations and Healthcare Related Entities
* Knowledge of healthcare compliance organizations and processes
* Familiarity with Basel Headquarters Client's IT environment
Education: Bachelor or Master Degree with support of a project managed by the Pharma Healthcare will be an advantage.
Languages: Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
