Interim Head of IT Operations - Shared ServicesOne of Talent's leading clients is urgently looking for an Interim Head of IT Operations (Shared Services) on a 12-month contract.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- End-to-end delivery of all IT operational services within an ITIL framework including service management, service desk, support, testing, infrastructure management, and management of software licences etc.
- Managing the service relationship with IT end-users.
- Driving continuous improvement in terms of IT operations efficiency, IT service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring IT resources, capabilities and capacity meet both existing and new business demand.
- Leading the decommissioning of Shared Services
Candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a Head of IT role
- Proven Project and/or Programme Management experience
- Proven experience managing IT Operations within a shared services environment
- Proven experience in ITIL service management frameworks
- Proven experience setting and managing service level agreements
- Proven experience in Problem and Issue Management
- Proven experience managing IT teams of varying sizes in multiple technical environments
- Proven experience with IT strategy and IT operating plans within shared service environments
- Proven experience in change management including continuous improvement
- A strong working knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle
- A strong working background with QA and Testing
- Experience reporting on quality within IT Services
- Proven experience of resource management, capability management and transition
- Proven experience on large-scale decommissioning Programmes
- A strong working background in availability management
- Proven risk and issue management experience
- Proven stakeholder management skills and experience
