Bid Development & Support
To support the bid process on all financial parameters as an integral member of the bid team
Production and presentation of financial data in relation to bidding activity
o Profit and loss, cash flow, IRR and ROCE analysis
Analysis and guidance on other commercial aspects of bidding activity - Risks and Opportunities, Guarantees, FX, Penalties & Incentives, Deferred Payments and any other risk generating contractual clauses
Liaising with Business Winning and Service Creation on a regular basis in relation to new business strategy
Support continual improvement of pricing processes within Satcomms (CIS)
Review and approval of pricing renewals for UK and Overseas customers
Other
Managing the financial control of Secure Comms (SC) Selling Expenses, OP Planning, Forecasting, Reporting transnationally in conjunction with the SC bid management team.
Monthly analysis and reporting of SC Order Intake, working closely with SC Sales Operations
Production and review of financial aspects of internal business cases
Involvement in the production of regular forecast data and 5 year planning
Ad-hoc financial analysis in relation to investments/divestments/M&A activity
Foreign and UK Travel
Experience
Hi-Tech Industry experience (not essential)
Ability to organise, schedule and monitor tasks in order to meet strict deadlines.
Project financing and pricing methodologies
Financial Strategy/Financial Planning
Extensive Excel modelling skills
Negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
Ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and in a compelling manner.
SAP
Qualifications
Qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant
