The business analyst provides detailed functional requirements and end user support for the CAPS implementation of Infor Syteline. This roles also includes quality assurance, user documentation, and end user training.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Requirements Gathering
- Elicit, document and prioritize high level and detailed functional requirements
- Complete Business Requirements Document
- Construct business process models
- Perform stakeholder interviewing to understand current process and gather requirements
- Map requirements with existing functionality and identify gaps that require additional configuration or customization
- Apply requirements elicitation techniques such as scenarios/use cases, prototyping and workshops as required
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions on how they will successfully execute their plans
- Testing
- Create test plans to fully test system configuration and customizations under the direction of senior BA or Process owner
- Write a user acceptance and system test scripts
- Execute user acceptance and system test script
- Document Test results
- CRP
- Prepare CRP scripts under the direction of senior BA or Process owner
- Lead CRP in specialization area
- Elicit additional requirements or functional gaps from SMEs participating in CRP
- Project Methodology
- Responsible for planning, estimating, and scheduling requirement tasks
- Understands principles of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and raise to Project Manager as identified
- User Training
- Conduct end user training
- Prepare training material
- Conduct Business Process/Scenario Training
- Support and Stabilization
- Logging/Tracking/Follow-up on open issues
