Resource 1 is in need of a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in Elkridge, MD.
Ideal candidate will have solid BA experience in an enterprise IT environment, working on application development projects. Individual will join a delivery team primarily responsible for in-house application development for various functional areas. Selected candidate must have experience working in an Agile environment, including creating and maintaining all related artifacts/documentation, such as user stories, product backlog, etc. Candidate must have significant experience interacting/coordinating with executive management.
Primary responsibilities of the position include documenting business requirements and test scenarios, identifying process steps, collecting and analysing data, testing new services and systems, and planning and conducting effective training sessions for end-users. Candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at various levels of the organization, including department heads, executive team, application development supervisor, etc. Individual should also be forward-thinking and innovative. Experience working in the healthcare industry or with healthcare file formats is a plus.
