One of my clients based in Stockholm is currently looking for a SAP Project Manager to join them in March for an initial contract until the end of the year.
Job description
The position as SAP Project Manager is placed in one of the Accounting & Controlling functional areas in the Business Support Functions division. The functional areas is responsible for the implementation of the finance and controlling parts of the SAP Retail solution and for rolling out the template solution worldwide for stores and online markets.
The position as Project manager is for one of the sub projects in the area.
We are looking for a Project Manager with broad competence. You should have leadership qualities and SAP competence. It should be possible for you to have the project manager responsibility and part time, if needed, take test lead responsibility or application expert work tasks. Your main role will be Project Manager.
Work tasks
Be responsible for the overall scope of a project, detailed plans and ensure that the project is delivered within the stipulated time frame.
Work in close collaboration with business resources.
Ensure that business requirements are realized in the solution and in line with the template solution or guidelines.
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
Monitor and communicate the status in writing and verbally to multiple stakeholders.
Work task could also be
Test lead activities eg. plan and manage test and continuously identify, evaluate and prioritize testing activities within the project
Application expert work task eg. ensure that business requirements are realized in the solution and in line with the existing template solution, provide SAP expertise and conduct gap/fit analysis and implement template solution.
Specific competence
Leadership and ability to motivate and lead a team with mixed roles and competences.
Project management experience from implementing complex SAP solutions.
Good business knowledge from accounting and controlling processes.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
Experience of E-commerce is qualifying.
