About this role

As Business Systems Manager, you will have excellent knowledge of business processes, communication skills and be an accomplished manager to lead a team of business analysts and support analysts preferably with International experience. You will be responsible for project management of new modules, additional functionality, upgrades and continual improvements working collaboratively with all departments to implement agreed business processes. You will manage your team to achieve the project milestones and service levels expected by the business and deliver exceptional customer service for all business systems.

What you get to do within our Team?
  • Project Management: Develop and implement business systems projects in accordance with a standard project methodology eg Prince 2, driving projects to completion within agreed timescale, cost, quality and security. Maintain viable project plans incorporating changes as they occur and promote project management techniques and skills across the business. Provide routine metrics and reports including RAG status, monthly management report and present as required to the business systems steering committee.
  • Change Management: Provide change management and regular communications for interested parties who will be affected by changes. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills including confidence, persuasion, guidance and an ability to train people of all levels.
  • Line Management: You will build and manage projects teams working with line managers across the business for seconded staff and provide the appropriate challenge and support. Conduct and document regular 1-2-1 reviews, set objectives and encourage a close working relationship with all departments. You will coach and mentor analysts ensuring career development and personal development plans are included within the objectives.
  • Supplier Management : You will work with the IT Manager and Legal teams to specify third party contracts and manage the relationship and third party staff to achieve agreed SLA's
  • Application support: Work with the IT Manager to provide support for business systems including internal staff support and a third party support contracts
  • Strategy: Participate in the development of departmental strategies and provide expertise and support for the IT team as required. Maintain and demonstrate an up to date knowledge of ERP solutions and specific Microsoft technologies.

What you will need to win!
  • Experience with Microsoft AX 2012/7 or Dynamics 365 operation
  • Preferable to have experience with Finance and Manufacturing modules
  • Significant experience implementing and managing business systems applications, preferably in an International manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of processes within a global enterprise business
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Good manager of people based across a number of countries and locations
  • Ethic of delivering high quality services
  • Proven technical skills
  • You will be passionate about delivering a great customer experience.
  • Excellent English both verbal and written are essential
