Description

One of my government clients is looking for a Communication Officer for initially 2 months with likelihood of extension, based in Parramatta.

You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of communication plans, stakeholder engagement projects and internal communication initiatives.

The skills and experience required for this role are as below:
1. At least 1 year experience in a similar role
2. Communications experience in a government environment preferred
3. Experience using online communications tool such as Salesforce highly regarded
4. Knowledge of Compliance/Regulatory environments preferred
5. Experience in providing secretariat support for stakeholder engagement forums

In addition to the above, you will need to have excellent communication skills including impeccable writing skills.

You will also need to be able to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
