Supplier Performance and Innovation Lead TKPHJP0001214 (m/f)

Description

• Accountable for providing Supplier Performance and Innovation expertise for GMS to feed the annual planning process and ongoing supplier reviews
• Accountable for developing and improving tools and templates to ensure effective measurement of SP&I activities
• Responsible for providing SP&I input and expertise to the Global Category Leaders in building up the Category Strategies and agreeing SP&I resourcing to support Category Strategies
• Accountable for developing and maintaining the standardized supplier segmentation approach, improving upon the Takeda Supplier Performance and Innovation Framework
• Accountable for developing best practice for defining and developing supplier key performance indicators
• Accountable for ensuring the Takeda Supplier Performance and Innovation Framework is applied and developed where necessary
• Contribute to the GMS area for product and value chain risk assessment, leveraging SP&I experience
• Coach and engage with other SP&I colleagues to improve the overall Takeda SP&I framework
• Contribute to the global plans for risk, sustainability and performance

• Bachelors degree required, MBA
• Profound experience in-depth strategic and operational direct procurement experience
• Solid overall business experience, with at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry
• Solid prior experience managing procurement managers and professionals
• Demonstrated success leading global teams to achieving documented savings through various sourcing strategies
• Documented experience leading cost reduction and value improvement programs
• Solid purchasing/strategic sourcing experience including sourcing of services and other categories, contract negotiations and supplier management programs
• Professional certifications, memberships desired: CPM, CPA, ISM, NBTA supplier management programs
• Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips, international travel will be required
