GIS-Expert for Data Refinement (GIS, ArcGIS Server-SDE, Swedish, Ericsson)
Ability to converse fluently, coherently and confidently in English and Swedish is MANDATORY
- We are implementing a new IT platform for documentation and maintenance of their network.
- An important part of the project is to migrate data from existing source systems to the target system.
- Most of the data will be migrated automatically with the help of FME but still some part of data needs to be migrated semi automatically.
- We are now looking for a GIS-expert that can help us with data refinement in both Legacy and target system.
- The refinement process is part of a larger project that migrates large volumes of data from existing source systems into a new GIS-platform.
- You will be part of our technical team responsible for refinement and enhancing the data quality before and after going into production.
- An important feature for success is this role is that you will engage in business logic and complicated data models, as well as in different systems.
Requirements:
Competence:Several years of working experience in GIS
Hands-on experience of working with GIS software ex; ArcGIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD etc.
Understanding of relational spatial databases
Fluent in English and Swedish, verbally and written
Experience of agile development methodologies
The candidates must be Swedish citizens
Successful candidates will demonstrate:Support GIS Specialists in team in data migration and refinement.
Spatial data development & analysis
Prepare documentation that describes the operating procedures for using GIS applications.
Manages a heavy and diversified workload and can juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience of working with Enterprise Geodatabases (ArcGIS Server-SDE) with underlying standard DBMS (Oracle 11g or above).
Knowledge and experience with editing scenarios in a multiuser Geodatabase (Versioning concepts in ArcSDE)
Provide technical support in resolving issues in custom applications.
Demonstrated ability to support business end users and production issues as and when required.
Desirable skills:Prior experience as a TeamLead
Experience in telecommunications or other network based industry
Prior experience of Ericsson Network Engineer
