Senior Data Analyst - Data Hub Operating Model Programme - Bristol
My client, a large Retail Bank is looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst to work on a data warehouse transformation initiative. The successful candidate will have recently worked as a Data Analyst in banking and have experience on working on large Data Transformation programmes.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years Business Analyst experience is essential.
- Financial Services experience (ideally Retail Banking) is essential.
- Experience with Data Warehouses is essential.
- Experience with Operational Model and process mapping and improvement.
- Ability to work in an agile team employing techniques such as Epic and User Story development.
- An understanding of how to apply Agile ways of working.
- Ability to use and define Data Models; Source to Target Data Mapping and Data Transformation
- Understanding of relational data bases and big data and ability to apply it to designing data models, maps etc.
- Strong experience with several of the following is essential:
- Hadoop, SQL, Teradata, Tableau, JIRA and Confluence
