Description
An award-winning wine & spirits merchant is looking for a bright, motivated and driven Management Accountant to play an integral role within a Finance Transformation, aimed at upgrading systems and processes.
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the team as they implement a new ERP and owning the month end and year-end processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Hold responsibility for the preparation and submission of year end accounts
- Continuous review of existing reporting processes, controls and financial systems to challenge and encourage best working practice at all times
Personal and Professional competencies:
- Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Management accounting, financial accounting and project accounting experience within a small-mid sized business
- SAP knowledge is preferred
- Excellent Excel skills and analytically minded
- Must be personable, good at building relationships and dealing with a wide set of stakeholders
