T4S Solutions are searching for a Enterprise Architect to work in Brussels on a long term contract position for a prestigious Client in the public sector.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

In the current context, the objective is to collaborate and provide services in support of enabling the delivery of EA strategies, services, tools and processes, and more specifically in the usage and administration of business process modelling tools.

The objective of this mission is complex:

To ensure the evolution of the EA methodology by assessing the interrelationships of the business process architecture, the information architecture, the components and services architectures, and the infrastructure architectures to ensure their continued relevance:

  • Develop and/or maintain EA guidelines, standards and related documentation (eg implementation & governance guidelines documents, EA metamodel etc.);
  • Ensure the alignment of methodologies & standards in compliance with EC corporate guidelines & recommendations (eg CEAF, TOGAF, BPMN, etc.);
  • Maintain the relevance of the enterprise architecture repository, covering business, information and application viewpoints, with main focus on 2 financial processes and local (WAVE, SFC 2007, SFC2014, WFS, SysAudit) and corporate finance information systems (ABAC) for the daily financial and budgetary management - increase content coverage, model relations and align business, information, data, service architectures, maintain object library in ARIS, develop administration reports and scripts in ARIS, ensure quality/compliance review, manage and document filters, etc.;
  • Act as EA competence centre for REGIO stakeholders by: conceiving and delivering training on ARIS tools, modelling and EA methodologies and how they should be applied in DG REGIO, disseminate corporate information to business and technology modellers);
  • Participate in the modelling of the IT units' processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and publish EA repositories - ARIS, SharePoint Documentation Central Repository as well as Process Navigator application; o Conceive and update regularly EA dashboard;
  • Develop and actively participate in the dissemination of EA communication materials;
  • Increase the integration with other applications/sources of information in DG REGIO such as: Infoview, REGIO Wiki, REGIO Intranet.
  • Develop scripts, checks and reports, to help internal services in the unit - ADS - Application development sector, BIDS - Business Intelligence and Data Quality service, OTSS - Operational and Technical Support service and Business Process Team - BPT; o Production of functional specifications for WAVE;
  • Review business models, identify problems, suggest resolution, support decision, complete processes, ensure consistency;
  • Induction of newcomers to REGIO BPM Environment.

PROFILE

The profile requested is:

  • minimum 15 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school; and a specific expertise of:
  • minimum 6 years in business process analysis using the ARIS platform.

Also, expertise in tasks related to the administration of the ARIS platform v9.x is highly appreciated.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED

Excellent knowledge and experience in business process and skills modelling;

Excellent knowledge of IT tools used for business process modelling and business analysis specifically on the ARIS platform, both as a user but also as administrator;

Proven technical expertise in development of scripts for customised implementation in ARIS platform;

Good knowledge and experience in Enterprise Architecture (concepts, frameworks, tools and methodologies);

Very good knowledge and experience in producing business, functional and IT architectures along with the appropriate skills;

Proven track record in the analysis, design and implementation of a wide range of business functions and processes, and especially financial processes;

Sound analytical skills, detailed methodological knowledge and a disciplined and systematic approach to business analysis;

Good knowledge of IT tools used in the office environment;

Ability to translate functional requirements into process specifications;

Ability to analyse and audit information systems;

Ability to communicate and interface effectively with users, technical and business staff and to give presentations to senior management;

Ability to integrate in an existing team in a multicultural and multilingual environment;

Good knowledge of written/spoken English and French and capability to work and draft documents both in English and in French;

A very good knowledge of Regional Policy business and information systems is an additional asset;
