Senior Risk Manager
Edinburgh
12 month Contract
Our Financial Services client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join the Edinburgh office.
The successful candidate will have previous Financial Services experience as well as the following:
Essential Experience:
- Strong risk management experience
- Experience of reading & evaluating regulations both UK and global
- Experience of interpreting principals based regulation as opposed to prescriptive regulations & shaping the principals into high level business requirements a necessity
- Ability to translate complex technical subject matter, verbal and written, into material that is understood by non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written pros
- Ideal candidate would also have significant Board paper writing expertise
- Experience of participating and contributing to industry body discussion eg UK Finance, AFME etc.
- Technical expertise in Recovery and/or resolution planning would be a distinct advantage
