Duration: 3 months with possible extension

We are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Advisor to work for an international company, to support within new build Biomass plants across the UK. The client provides leading technology and services for the sustainable use of Earth's natural resources.
Profile Specifics

• Must have boiler and combustion technology commissioning experience.
• Strong experience in mechanical commissioning.
• An advantage to additionally have strong knowledge of electrical.

Some Duties Include:

• Preparing, testing and commissioning components and systems.
• Performing cold and hot tests.
• Participating in the drying of refractory, steam blowing, adjustments and trial runs.
• Instructing and training operational staff.
• Preparing operational documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering and you have a great deal of experience in commissioning tasks and a solid experience of boiler and combustion technology.
• Experience in commissioning/operation within Waste to Energy, Biomass, Gasification or Power Generation.
