What is the opportunity?

Customer has developed a multi-year business transformation strategy, Advanced Client Engagement (ACE), that focuses on aligning our clients' requirements with system enhancements designed to improve their overall experience, enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk and we're just getting started!

What will you do?

The Agile coach drives the implementation of the overall philosophy, strategy, tools and processes for wide spread adoption of the Agile methodology and principles. The Agile coach participates in the development of the Agile COE and is engaged in consulting, education and coaching support to Agile teams, scrum masters, product owners, the executive ranks and management throughout customer. This role is key to ensure broad Agile methodology adoption, corporate productivity improvements, enhanced delivery and quality, cost optimization, speed to market and increased customer satisfaction. A key role of the Agile coach is to promote the Agile culture and mindset throughout the organization.

What do you need to succeed?

Skillset:

Ability to coach teams and individuals for process and soft skills.
Deliver ART level training on more complex frameworks (such as SAFe)
Ability to advise and setup one or multiple ARTs
Can advise and setup on an Agile framework across a whole dept/organization
Ability to coach organizations and lead Agile transformation initiatives
Ability to be an effective and hands-on scrum master on top of your coaching activities
Agile Mindset & Communication:
Looks for areas of improvement, people and process, and recommends approaches
Able to relate agile principles to real life examples.
Fosters the culture of challenge
Knowledge of market standard practices and technologies
Be a quality advocate - Continuously encourage/challenge/collaborate with the team to improve process/productivity.
Embraces the Agile Manifesto and applies practices to encourage adoption
Autonomously handle conflicts/issues/impediments within one or across teams
Can efficiently communicate with a non technical audience
Can challenge purpose, value and priorities of user stories
Ability to effectively communicate and engage a technical and non technical audience
Work with External PO's, SM's, TL's across large Agile Delivery Program
Plan and execute initiatives to solve program wide issues
Strong facilitation skills
Promote Agility within the ART and the organization through initiatives such as Lunch & Learns
Can make and propose trade-offs based on a strong sense of priorities

Ability to Coach teams and individuals in regards to their Scrum practices
Ability to advise group of people around how to best organize themselves in order to achieve a goal

Deliver training on Scrum and other frameworks to small groups
Consistently questions all parts of the process to ensure the team is producing the desired output
Create/Lead community of practices
Business Alignment:
Ensure a long term vision is provided for the team and structure them for success to meet business objectives
Mirror Product Owner capabilities to ensure vision of product is clear and maintained

- Significant experience in coaching is required
- Experience in the financial sector is mandatory
