DevOps Test Engineer
For one my leading banking clients I am urgently looking for a Dutch speaking DevOps Test Engineer with an affinity with functional testing and information analysis to be based out of their amazing offices in Leeuwarden. On occasion you must be prepared to travel to Amsterdam.
Knowledge of and experience:
* Fluent in Dutch and English, both in speaking and in writing
* Working according to the Agile/scrum methodology as well as with the DevOps method;
* Automated Testing, Test Scripts & non functional tests.
* At least 3 years of experience as test engineer is required;
* Testing tools, especially RIT (Loadrunner is a pro);
* TDD (Test Driven Development) and ATTD (Acceptance Test Driven Development);
* Continuous Delivery tooling (eg Maven, Nolio, Jenkins, GIT);
* Working with Chain Monitoring environment (Logstash, Kibana, Grafana);
* Knowledge of Java, Tibco, EMS, Kafka is a pro.
Job Description:
If successful you will be working in a multidisciplinary squad which has the responsibility for the 7*24 hour operational stability and availability of critical applications on the D-T-A-P environment. You will have a major role in performing functional tests on those applications. You will also be involved in analysing and documenting the requirements of the consuming third parties and translating those to our developers, as well as contributing to risk control.
Within the team you would be working form, you would be responsible for the Real Time distribution of all changes to customer data from all countries in which our client is active to third parties within the organisation.
Working within a DevOps team you use the Agile/scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering practices.
Your main tasks will be
* Developing and maintaining automated test scripts;
* Performing functional and possibly non-functional tests;
* Analyzing requirements and translating those to developers and into test scripts;
* Functional and technical support of consuming parties;
You will also be
* Maintaining the Operational Control Documentation;
* Maintaining the CMDB;
* Participating actively in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices;
* Participating actively in a Chapter.
Contract: 6months +.
Location: Leeuwarden, with incidental travel to Amsterdam.
Rates: Negotiable.
