Description

How would you like to work for one of our leading renewable energy clients, we are looking for a Consultant Senior Planner for their offshore wind farm project. This role will be based at our client's offices in Denmark, Monday - Friday 5 days a week, 8 hrs per day, there will however be travel days approx. 3 - 5 days a month, to different locations and sites. This exciting role will include time and resource planning of foundation and array cable packages which may change to other packages. We are looking for a Consultant who could start this 14 month freelance role ASAP up until 30th June 2019 with the possibility to extend further for 6 months.
Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare the time management plan and drive time & resource management in compliance with policy and process cards
  • To support project management team (EPC director, PD manager, Package Manager, MGO etc) in developing time schedules and human resource plans
  • Control/maintain time schedules analyses
  • Communicate and report progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis
  • Secure coordination and alignment between the package schedules and key milestones
  • Prepare the final project time report
Tasks: 
  • To establish and maintain the time management plan
  • Support the project organisation in developing and maintaining time schedule and human resource planning in accordance with guidelines and processes for the relevant phase including compliance and integration with portfolio standards
  • Facilitate appropriate weather downtimes are calculate based on LISS and included in the offshore installation schedules
  • Assist the project organisation in the preparation of tender time schedules with project milestones for employer/external supplies
  • Facilitate that requirements to the suppliers planning and progress reporting are included in the tender documents and contract documents
  • To secure implementation of the DPR system during offshore activities, collect progress data and update the plan accordingly
  • To provide detailed analyses including scenario analysis, milestone tracking, critical path and float analysis as required in the project
  • Review suppliers time schedules and ensure that they comply with the overall construction time schedule
  • To develop and maintain the Time Schedule Assumption Book
  • Report progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis to the project management and portfolio management
  • Secure that the installation sequence is defined, optimised and aligned
Qualifications: 
  • MSc or other relevant degree, competence equivalent PMI-SP (PMI Scheduling Professional)
  • 5 years relevant work experience within wind or construction
  • 5 years experience working in a similar role
  • 2 years experience working in a project Matrix organisation
  • Should be a Primavera Super user
  • Must have planning experience from working within the Wind Power Industry.
  • Must be able to commit to working in Denmark 5 days a week for the duration of the role.
Special Provisions:

The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.
