Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Finance Manager/Finance Advisorbased in Andover for 3 months initially with possible extension.
This role falls INSIDE of IR35.
Knowledge & Experience
Vast knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Highly developed specialist knowledge in accounting systems.
Experience and ability to work autonomously
Experience in using MS Office products
Expert experience of computerised accounting systems
Experience of managing a team of finance specialists
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format
Ability to communicate complex financial information to an audience where there may be barriers to understanding
Ability to analyse and interpret highly complex financial and non-financial data
Strong problem solving skills and ability to make judgements
Ability to organise and plan own workload and projects in order to meet deadlines
Able to extract salient information from accounting systems and create databases or spreadsheets using complex formulae
Able to travel to different sites within the organisation and to customers.
