My client a global cable operator based in Amsterdam is currently looking to recruit an intermediate delivery manager on a long term contract basis.

Specific tasks:

Qualitative and timely delivery of translations in cooperation with project leads and country spocs;
Support for operational language processes within different projects (review sessions; required updates, bug fixing, usage of translation memory, API's, general operations);
Validate, communicate and release new language build versions to countries;
Coordination of processes for copy changes/required translations for future software releases;
Set-up and management of roles and rights for project language teams per country;
General management and business point of contact for Transifex regarding budget, PO, Statement Of Work, max allowed word count limit, contract renewal, etc.

Intermediate: Operational role; Specific skill set or training; Standard educational credentials required; Prior experience in this role (2-5 years)

Summary: Responsible for successfully shaping an agreed portfolio of program and projects.

Education/Experience: Knowledge and experience of program/project planning processes, techniques, and methodology; experience with portfolio/project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment

Skills and Competencies: Relationship & stakeholder mgmt.; interpersonal skills; self-drive; strong communication & presentation skills; delivery mgmt.; organizational, planning & scheduling skills; risk mgmt.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and review programs and projects to ensure delivery to the agreed standards of quality, cost, risk and time.

2. Engage and manage relevant stakeholders, helping to resolve issues and understanding drivers/needs.

3. Proactively recommend remedial action to bring the portfolio/project/program back in line.

4. Drive governance across the department ensuring projects adhere to the framework and governance gateways.

5. Identify resource gaps and ensure actions are taken to resolve them

6. Analyze all information on the program/portfolio and be able to identify key and future issue

7. Drive strong financial analysis.

8. Ensure key project documentation is in place.
