Payroll Team Lead/Payroll Consultant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Payroll Lead to join a leading organisation located in either Manchester or Leeds. This role will be offered an initial 6 months contract with the potential to extend.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 2-6 payroll administrators insuring that all employees are paid on time and in accordance with both statutory legislation and company policy.
Key Skills:
- Hands on day to day experience in a payroll administration role
- Ideally candidates would have gained experience using Northgate's ResourceLink software
- Either CIPP Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of computerised payroll applications preferably ResourceLink
- Able to produce reports using a combination of ResourceLink, Cognos and spreadsheets
- Strong appreciation of IT issues together with experience of Microsoft Office
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with large complex payrolls in a people management role
You will be responsible for motivating team members and supporting the Head of Payroll when required.
