We are looking for a Business Analyst with knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation to join our team in Brussels. The GDPR Business Analyst will support the review of our processes, systems and current practices concerning the management and usage of personal data. You will be working on the GDPR program and will contribute to the compliancy by May 2018. Day arte is flexible and this is an initial 6 month contract.

Responsibilities will include:

  • In an European context, you will support the identification of business processes and data flows that relate to personal data. You will support the DPO team to set up a data protection register.
  • You will analyse and review our "Privacy Consent" strategy and develop proposals for adaptations in scope of GDPR.
  • You will analyse "Front End solutions" where consumers subscribe or register and you will identify the adaptations required for the integration with the new "consent" module. Same work regarding the integration with the Back End applications.
  • You will support activities to put under control the "Third Party GDPR compliance risk" working in collaboration with the DPO team and the business stakeholders.
  • You will take in charge all the business analysis needed to respond at what is identified as critical issue during the personal data governance program execution (analyse, mitigation issues, documentation )
  • You understand compliance standards (GDPR, e-privacy) and translate them into business and data management requirements. (user stories/functional specifications or business change requests)

Candidate Profile:

  • Working knowledge of EU data protection legislation including new GDPR law
  • Good experience Business requirements & business processing analyse and definitions
  • Experience in similar projects (as Data Protection and regulatory projects)
  • Proven experience of leading business process change
  • Strong communication skills to ensure an effective communication across all levels of our organization - both oral and written experience in managing meetings, convey information to different stakeholders
  • Fluent English given the international dimension of program. French and Dutch is a plus.
  • You are flexible in the execution of your work when it's necessary.
  • You can demonstrate good negotiation and persuasion skills.
