The Company
ConSol Partners' client, a fast growing, venture-backed company is seeking an experienced Events Manager looking to travel the world managing and hosting executive events for our customers and prospects.
The Role
We are seeking a highly energetic, organized and outgoing individual who has experience in both trade show management and coordination, but also in planning and executing smaller, intimate, executive events.
This position supports global marketing and sales and requires 50-80% travel within and outside of Europe. Ideally this will start as a contract and turn into a Full time opportunity.
- Plans and executes marketing events, such as trade shows and customer/prospect specific events
- Focuses on account-based, partner and small regional executive events
- Coordinates logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations
- Researches potential event locations and evaluates alternatives
- Procures and coordinates vendor services
- Coordinates facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements
- Provides on-site event support
The Individual
- Minimum 5 years' experience in event coordination at a B2B company
- Experience with planning, execution and management of global events
- Experience managing events budget
- Ability to build relationships and manage external vendors
- Willingness to singularly manage all aspects of a program
- Ability to execute in a deadline driven environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and collaborative
- Proactive problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communications skills; polished interpersonal and influencing skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
