Qualifications and previous knowledge
- Previous experience as a loan trading closer preferably in an investment bank
- Good PC skills (including strong Excel skills)
- To understand the fundamental policies and procedures of the bank
- To have basics understanding of BO systems (Sentry); clear par and Loan trading documents and procedures
- A knowledge of how the Fixed Income business is organised : relationship between the Middle, Front Office and Back Office
- Settlement, P&L and accounting basics are useful
Description of duties
- To co-ordinate settlement and booking of loan trading transaction with Back Office.
- To draft and send legal documentation (Market standard documentation) linked to the trades (LMA confirmation, Transfer Certificate, pricing letter etc.)
- To verify that deals are correctly represented in the bank's systems and that they conform to legal documentation terms.
- To book various fees, and communicate them in an appropriate manner
- Ensure appropriate records of the transactions are kept and saved.
