Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a lot of logistics experience implementing WMS solutions for an international client.
Overall objectives and responsibilities
You will be the leading person for the implementation of the existing and new IT projects in which you will manage the project team members of and have an excellent overview of the progress within the project(s). You will be the chairman in meetings with in- and external clients and report to the steering group. Working in a dynamic environment will be a part of your daily routine. You will determine the goals, deliverables and milestones for the project. Coordination of different projects and accompanying change projects is also a part of the job description. Last but not least you will have to be self starting, energetic and a team player to be an ideal match for this challenging job.
Your team
You will report to the manager IT and you are responsible for the members of the project team amongst which are testers, developers and architects. Your clients can be internal colleagues and of course the external client.
Required skills and experience
- HBO/WO level of education;
- Prince2 Practitioner and or IPMA and or P3O certified.
- Excellent knowledge of information technology
- Extensive experience in project management;
- Experience with logistics environment;
- Substantial experience in IT system implementations and logistic operations;
- Good social skills;
- Analytical work and thinking;
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels;
- Commercially driven;
- Driven to perform within time, cost and scope objectives;
- Comfortable with working under pressure and willing to travel
- Living in the Netherlands
