I'm looking for an enthusiastic and experienced officer to join our busy but friendly Pollution Service, being part of the wider Environmental Services Team, as an Environmental Health Officer/Senior Environmental Health Officer In The South East
Reporting to the Principal Environmental Health Officer, the EHO/SEHO will be responsible for managing all environmental protection aspects in a district; in the case of the SEHO this will be alongside the day to day management of the team undertaking a range of environmental protection duties.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to take the first step in to a management role. The EHO post will cover the full range of duties on a district basis with the opportunity for project work and further development. This post offers the opportunity to progress and develop to lead and manage a team.
All applicants must have a degree or diploma in Environmental Health and be EHORB-registered. The successful applicant will be confident, organised and understand the full range of pollution control work. We are prepared to consider flexible working arrangements for this appointment.
The hourly rate for this position is £29 -£34 depending on experience.
