FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
FinXL are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and work across a large and ongoing program of work revolving around the development of a significant new project.
Working on a Saleforce CRM implementation project the Senior Business Analyst role will focus on initiating and planning requirement and process workshops/meetings and documenting outcomes in line with internal standards.
Additionally, the Snr Business Analyst will support the Change and Communication activities as well as the project delivery activities.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding true business drivers and work with business stakeholders to shape and define initiatives/projects.
- Elucidating detailed business requirements and ensuring end-to-end process integrity is maintained across multiple systems and business processes.
- Developing the required artefacts (eg Initiative Briefs/Epics, Business Cases, Business Requirements Definition/User Stories) to mobilise projects.
- Facilitating discussions between stakeholders to identify functional & non-functional requirements, transcending through from business managers to IT developers.
- Understanding risks in both agile & traditional delivery methodologies and working with Solution Owners, Solution Architects and IT Delivery to perform appropriate mitigation activities.
- Driving solution definition with the IT delivery team to ensure requirements have the appropriate level of detail to enable successful implementation.
- Working with Solution Owners, Business Leaders and Portfolio Manager to seek approval of initiatives/projects.
- Ensuring the agreed solution is fit-for-purpose for the defined requirements and balances project objectives with longer term business, customer experience and technology strategies.
- Taking ownership of Business Analysis activities in large initiatives, providing in-direct leadership of other Business Analysts and ensuring appropriate quality outcomes.
- Projects involve critical change initiatives to stand up the Industry Engagement, Bid Management, Solution Development, and Customer Transition Engagement functions.
Required Skills/Experience:
Min 5 years experience as a Business Analyst, gathering requirements across multiple streams
Only candidates who have worked in an Agile environment would be considered
Strong stakeholder management capabilities; demonstrate the ability to capture/translate requirements from (and between) technical and business domains
Demonstrated ability to run workshops and elicit feedback from cross-functional areas of an organisation.
The ability to influence others at all levels of an organization and be able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
