My client, an energy trading company based in Sunbury, requires a Workday Payroll Workstream & Payroll Functional Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will be required to have the following proven experience:
- Deep functional expertise in HR and Payroll
- Knowledge of batch file technology and interface processing a plus
- 5 years or more experience in HR, Time and Payroll systems with preferential emphasis on Vendor solutions and Workday or similar ERP solutions
- Experience in working with Vendors and file transmissions to support the outsourced process
- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Time and business operations
- Experienced in working with global stakeholders and team members
- Proven success in managing Deployment Projects in multiple countries with multiple vendors
- Proven experience in managing small to large and complex level projects with multiple work streams running concurrently
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work in pressurized environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work at strategic and tactical/operational levels
- Ability to work non-standard business hours to work with global team members and within deployment timelines
- Proficient in use of MS Products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong Project management ability is a must
- Strong payroll fundementals knowledge and exposure to a Global payroll landscape
- Workday implementation experience to support key solutioning within Workday and to support third party integrations
- Working knowledge of PECI, PICOF, Extremal Pay Inputs
- A detailed understanding of the integration of HR, Payroll, Time, and Benefits
- Experience in working in a HR operational environment
- Experience in working with HR and Payroll data
Additional Information:
Our lead role in Payroll needs to have the breadth of knowledge in the future Workday solution, our Legacy SAP platform and also our payroll provider's payroll platform.. This is key to the phase we are in and need a person with strong knowledge and experience in this space that can lead solution sessions with cross functional teams.
Another key area is in the Project Management space. Since this is a very large program of work, the PM space is critical for our workstream's success. I need somebody that can be in the front, fight for the right things for payroll and drive work items to completion. We need a person that is comfortable in the driver seat and is willing to be vocal and push and take a very active role in the planning and integration with all the other 13 workstreams.
