Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Section Planner for an initially 06 month contract with potential extension based in Scotland.Please note: This role falls Inside IR35
Responsibilities
" Create Safe System of Work packs to allow trackside workers to carry out maintenance duties
" Review workloads
" Plan future work plans
" Complete applications for track access
" Complete applications for resource
" Coordinate with Track Access coordinator to highlight issues on the weekly operating notice
" Participate in weekly planning meetings led by the Track Section Manager
" Update systems and databases
Experience
" Safe system of work planning process and system (SSOWPS)
" Good planning skills
" Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
" Rail background
" Previous section planner experience (or similar)
" Knowledge of access and possession processes and systems
