Description

My client, one of the leading service providers in Belgium, is currently looking for an Incident Manager.

Responsibilities:
You will have a central role in the management of people in resolving incidents. You will have an overview of the available resources and is able to prioritize. A professional who keeps her/his cool, can immediately assess the urgency of an incident and act accordingly.

Specific:
-You lead and coach a team of network engineers
-You are responsible for the day-to-day follow-up of Major Outages and strict compliance with the SLAs with our customers
-You are responsible for keeping every incident under control as well as possible
-You follow the PLM (Planned Maintenance)
-You approve of urgent PLMs (CURs) or not
-You identify strengths and weaknesses in the current method of Incident Management processes
-You write CNO reports that can be used for both senior leaders and SRM and in case of incidents, for both customers and press
-You guarantee a first level of management escalation for both your own organization and our external parties
-You are available 24/7 (on call rota) and if necessary need to join the SOC outside normal working hours

Experience:
-You are a bachelor or equivalent through experience
-You have a good knowledge of network and technology
-You have an analytical mind
-You have business writing skills to write reports on incidents in a clear but correct way
-You can quickly make the right decisions and take initiative
-You have qualities in people management and coaching
- Experience with NOC or SOC is a plus
- Ideally, you're a Dutch speaker
