Incident Manager - Dutch Speaking - Contract - Mechelen
Square One are looking for an Incident Manager to come on board for an initial 3 month contract in Mechelen.
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.

Function:
The Incident Manager has a central role in the management of people in resolving incidents. He/she has an overview of the available resources and is able to prioritize. A professional who keeps his/her cool, can immediately assess the urgency of an incident and act accordingly.
Specific:
You lead and coach a team of network engineers
You are responsible for the day-to-day follow-up of Major Outages and strict compliance with the SLAs with our customers
You are responsible for keeping every incident under control as well as possible
You follow the PLM (Planned Maintenance)
You approve of urgent PLMs (CURs) or not
You identify strengths and weaknesses in the current method of Incident Management processes
You write CNO reports that can be used for both senior leaders and SRM and in case of incidents, for both clients and press
You guarantee a first level of management escalation for both your own organization and our external parties.
You are available 24/7 (on call rota) and if necessary need to join the SOC outside normal working hours
You will ensure that Corporate Communications team is informed promptly and accurately
Profile:
You are a bachelor or equivalent through experience
You have a good knowledge of network and technology
You have an analytical mind
You have business writing skills to write reports on incidents in a clear but correct way
You can quickly make the right decisions and take initiative
You have qualities in people management and coaching
Experience with NOC or SOC is a plus
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.
