Finance Manager - Transaction Accounting - Life Insurance

Based in Bristol a Finance Manager is required on a contract basis to support work within the Insurance & Wealth Finance Reporting team.

This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment, including the potential to work from home.

As part the team, the candidate will work with finance reporting business leads and various Project team members including persons from Actuarial, Investment Operations and Tax.

The successful candidate will also be contributing to the design and build of finance controls and embedding updated ledger and Group Reporting processes into the business teams.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Candidates must be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a strong Life Finance Reporting background and have a good analytical skill set.
  • You will need to demonstrate experience of financial control, finance progress reporting and financial planning in a project environment.
  • Able to demonstrate strong excel and ledger use/development (ideally Oracle and or SAP).
  • Transaction Accounting.
  • Experience within Financial Services/Banking is required.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and highlight issues proactively.
  • Excellent work ethic, committed, enthusiastic and driven to succeed.

Bristol based paying up to £450 per day.
