Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Project Accountant for 12 months contract initially with possible extension.
This role is falling Inside IR35.
Location: Three location options are given (Bristol, Swansea, and Nottingham)
Key duties of the post holder will be:
- Support high level long term financial forecasting
- Financial modelling - inc Business cases, exception reporting and end project closure reports
- Project forecasting, accounting and reporting
Additional information specific to this role:
Finance Business Partner and Financial modelling work for internal projects.
The post holder will provide financial partnering support to Senior Managers and Project managers for the life cycle of a project. The key part of the role will be financial modelling for investment decisions and spend approvals, while supporting the project manager in identifying relevant cost and benefits and adherence to client's financial policies.
The post holder will work in a small team of four Finance Business Partners and Managements Accountants, who support client's projects.
There will be travel expected in this role, with some overnights possible, level of travel will be dependent on location of post holder.
