Media Planning Assistant

My exclusive client, based in Central London are looking to streamline their Media Planning operations and are urgently seeking a Media Planning Assistant to join them on a long term contract basis. This role is a junior appointment, with the main aim of the role to assist the Media Planning team with the implementation of Media Planning and associated initiatives across all channels. Reporting into the Media Manager. the Media Planning Assistant will ensure that Media plans for key channels are implemented within the CMS and delivered appropriately.

Role & Responsibilities

*Implement Media strategy plans into the Channel Management system within deadline for the Operations Team
*Carry out updates to promotional material as required and update those changes as required to the Planning grids, Channel Management system and Make-lists. Highlighting all relevant teams to the changes
*Carry out post campaign analysis as required by Media Planning Department
*Monitor the channels regularly for clear view of channel flow and understanding of the brand
*Monitor Competitor channels and help to contribute to new ideas
*Update Media Planning Yearly plans with information as required
*Assist with administrative requirements such as setting up meetings, typing up notes and or media planning 1 sheets and/other administrative support as required for the Media Planning Team
*Assist with chasing and viewing content prior to scheduling

Experience & Attributes

*A good understanding of the role within Media Planning
*Experience in the use of TechEdge to pull data for post campaign analysis reports
*An excellent level of computer literacy
*Ability to communicate well to a wide range of people and levels
*A good level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure
*Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively
*A confident and pleasant manner as this job involves dealing with many people across the Company
*Knowledge of the production process, as well as working with acquired programming would also be useful but not required
*Knowledge of the Techedge optimizer system would be useful but not essential
*Education to a degree level within Media or similar subject, useful but not essential
