Description:
Information Technology, within the Financial Reporting Group, is looking for a Financial Analyst. This position is responsible for providing reporting and analysis expertise and support to our IT Business Partners. You will create and prepare analytical reporting in support of IT financial goals, as well as other ad hoc and change management projects as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:

This position will support IT in the central monthly reporting and analysis process across the organization, maintaining Service Level Agreements with internal clients. In this role you will identify and prepare evaluations on a variety of complex and diverse projects including the formal presentations of results regarding the financial, statistical, operational analysis performed.

You will participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, targets and reports; assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities by identifying key business issues; creating financial models and making recommendations.

In addition, you will provide ongoing management consulting on the use and interpretation of analyses, reports, methodologies, systems and source data, acting as an expert financial information resource.

You will partner closely with the IT finance team to improve financial analysis, reporting, and other financial processes.
You will not only ensure that proper processes and deadlines are met, but will also develop and implement internal processes and procedures to support and comply with finance policy and procedures.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Must have at least 4+ years of financial analysis experience in successively responsible roles

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong proficiency with MS Office required especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of systems and financial tools including Business Objects and/or Cognos.

MBA desirable

Understanding of business rules and how those rules translate into financial systems and financial reports.
