Description
Our client is a leading Global Insurance business who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Compliance Officer with a broad ranging skill set. The role will take responsibility for assisting the Head of Compliance in implementing and ensuring a robust and effective compliance function across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for Compliance team policies and procedures across the business areas
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, managing and reporting on Compliance risks
- Working closely with the business leaders and sales across all regions in the development of new business, products and services and distribution and supplier relationships
- Drive business Compliance with applicable national regulatory requirements
- Reporting to Local Directors and other company stakeholders as required
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Generalist broad compliance experience working in a General Insurance Environment is essential
- Experience of engaging at a very senior level including board level
- Experience of engaging with regulatory bodies including the FCA and PRA
- Compliance or Legal qualifications would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
