Description

Our client is a leading Global Insurance business who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Compliance Officer with a broad ranging skill set. The role will take responsibility for assisting the Head of Compliance in implementing and ensuring a robust and effective compliance function across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for Compliance team policies and procedures across the business areas
  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, managing and reporting on Compliance risks
  • Working closely with the business leaders and sales across all regions in the development of new business, products and services and distribution and supplier relationships
  • Drive business Compliance with applicable national regulatory requirements
  • Reporting to Local Directors and other company stakeholders as required

Key Skills & Experience required:

  • Generalist broad compliance experience working in a General Insurance Environment is essential
  • Experience of engaging at a very senior level including board level
  • Experience of engaging with regulatory bodies including the FCA and PRA
  • Compliance or Legal qualifications would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
