Financial Promotions Compliance Marketing & Distribution Regulations Advisory Asset Investment Management
Our client is one of the worlds leading and most respected asset management institutions. The opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Distribution Compliance VP to act on an interim basis.
THE ROLE:
- EMEA Retail and institutional Marketing/Advertising and Media departments.
- Financial promotions review, challenge and approval at professional and end investor level
- Advising sales team on cross-border marketing rules and local regulations in EMEA
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of our marketing procedures.
- Contributing to the evolving application of EMEA regulatory rules in the context of digital marketing and social media.
- Assisting with training surgeries for other Compliance staff on financial promotions and marketing procedures to ensure consistent standards are applied by all our qualified approvers.
- Ad-hoc spot checking of record-keeping within the business to ensure marketing communications can be properly supported.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Extensive experience in application of financial promotion and cross-border marketing rules in EMEA
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- High standard of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Pragmatism and ability to use initiative
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads, multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to work on team projects and also work autonomously
- Extensive experience of reviewing, challenging and approving financial promotions and marketing materials for professional clients and/or end investors is required
- Solid understanding of asset classes, investment strategies and security types.
- Good compliance capabilities, a strong personality, combining energy, enthusiasm, resilience, tenacity and diplomacy.
- Fluency in European languages would be a distinct advantage
