Our large, direct client is looking for a motivated IT Project Manager to join their diverse team in a long-term, contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will have about 5 years of PM experience in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization! Required:
Hands-on experience in project management for at least 5 years
Experience managing and leading projects using metholdoigies such as Lean Startup, Agile, BiModal IT, with a focus on shortening product life cycles, time to market and risk management; (*Important to have Agile experience)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate and motivate stakeholders
Effective in influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role
Experience in leading diverse teams
Experience managing projects across geographic regions and with stakeholders from around the work; not required, but helpful
Awareness of current and emerging technologies and how enterprises are employing them to deliver improved outcomes
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project plan
Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units, not required, but helpful
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
