Deputy International Controller - ACA/ACCA - US GAAP - Insurance - London.

Our client, a leading insurance firm, urgently require a Deputy International Controller to join their team on a contract basis. As Deputy International Controller you will be responsible for assisting the International Controller in quarterly consolidated US GAAP reporting and financial statement preparation and also FSS/Finance Operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE;
Knowledge of US GAAP/SEC reporting
Strong experience of FSS/Finance Operations
International experience working with other GAAPs
Experience of Consolidation, HFM/Hyperion Financial Management
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Good understanding of General Ledger systems
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish priorities to meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to meet job requirements with a positive and productive attitude
Strong knowledge and understanding of the theory and applicability of accounting principles and practices
Solid Insurance background - Reinsurance/General Insurance/London Market Insurance/Lloyd's Market Insurance
ACA, ACCA qualified
Experience working with foreign subsidiaries of US owned entities
Big 4 auditing experience preferred
