Whitehall resources is looking for a SAP SCM/Bods consultant
The key responsibilities are:
The client is using Data Services and SLT via ODP/ODQ. We are facing issues in replicating delta records from source SAP CRM via Data Services and SLT towards target Teradata.
For a number of tables the delta's cannot get scheduled. For other tables, the initial load cannot get initiated (error message 'table structure mismatch').
We are looking for someone with senior, practical experience in Data Services, SLT and replication of data who can support in root cause analysis and identifying a working permanent solution. The solution should comply with the clients requirements and should fit into the current architecture.
* Data Services:
o Executing initial loads (clean tables etc) and delta loads, understand dependencies and impact of activities
o Solve issues regarding initial loads or delta loads, using both Data Services and SLT logic
o check transactions LTRC & ODQMON
o General Data Services (or Business Objects) housekeeping and maintenance activities
o Monitor execution cycles of jobs and publish daily report
o Monitor disk size on all the systems
o Monitor SLT for health check
o Run/support initial loads when required
o Run/support delta loads on daily basis
o Create initial and delta job for new tables in case of CR
o Monitor tickets and resolve them as and when created by client
o Analysis of issues
o Run/support special delta jobs as part of initial load or issue solving
o Create special delta jobs for new tables in case of CR
o Run SQL queries in HANA and Teradata for analysis/troubleshooting
o Delete entries from SLT when required
o Inform and communicate with stakeholders in case of issues and lead the decision making
o Align with Teradata team for requests on Teradata database
o Align with BASIS team for requests on CRM/SLT side
Knowledge:
* Data Services:
o Understand data replication process via SLT
o Knowledge of SLT and SLT replication process
o Knowledge of combination SLT and BODS via ODP/ODQ
o 2 years hands on experience in BODS
o Experience with BODS components such as Query, Map_CDC and Global variables.
o Good database SQL query skills
o Experience with admin console, designer and server manager tools
o Good communication skills
o Good technical documentation skills
o Preferred: knowledge of Teradata
o Knowledge of investigating performance
o Knowledge on how to monitor Data Services, analyze and solve problems
