Looking for a Commercial Manager to work with a public sector client.
Role: Commercial Manager
Day Rate: £400.00 per day(Inside IR 35)
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 06 Month, potential extension

ROLE SPECS:
I deally looking for a commercial manager with significant negotiating experience. Candidates with a strong procurement background would be considered.
Strong baseline knowledge of Data Protection legislation and GDPR with the capacity to upskill and learn on the job;
Able to discuss data protection and information security requirements from a legal, risk, compliance and commercial perspective with key stakeholders;
Excellent knowledge of leading procurement practice governance and assurance principles, processes and practices;
A proven record of accomplishment of renegotiation contracts and extensive experience of public sector procurement;
Substantial track record of delivering complex procurement projects in a public sector environment;
Experience of strategic supplier relationship management;
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills;
Experience in interpreting contractual arrangements;
In-depth understanding of Public Procurement Regulations and Commercial principles;
Project Management experience;
Ability to deliver to strict deadlines and targets;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
High level of IT literacy, including MS Office;
Well-developed analytical, organisational and problem solving skills;
High attention to detail and accuracy skills;
Risk identification relative to procurement and supplier management;
Prince 2 (or equivalent) or MCIPS accreditation is beneficial.
