Systems Engineer - Tactical Comms
Five Systems Engineers are required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Bristol.
This is a 6-month contract with a leading UK Defence business.
Overview of the Systems Engineer contract role
- Support to the Technical Authority on the design and integration assurance of the projects System Design.
- Conduct formal Technical reviews of Supplier deliverables in accordance with the published process.
- Provide technical support to the Strategy and Approvals team.
- Provide technical support to the Project Management Team in development of the materials to enable all procurements relating to the project.
- Engage with current or potential suppliers of services or goods to assess Architectural and Design Artefacts (AAs) for a Solution Building Block (SBB), and undertake an assessment and testing regime.
The role is based in Bristol - commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Cirencester, Swindon, Devizes, Trowbridge, Bath, Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston-Super-Mare, Newport and Cardiff
