Finance Analyst - Pinewood, Wokingham - 3 Months - £23 Per Hour
To provide support to Senior Finance Analyst and UK Business leaders by acting as a valued business partner for the Depuy Synthes Business Unit.
Main Responsibilities
- Support and develop high quality business partnering for UK Depuy Synthes business unit
- Month end and quarter end activities for Depuy Synthes, provide financial guidance and diagnose performance through monthly BVA analysis on COGS, GP and OPEX with correction/decision making processes
- Involvement in/driving standardisation, process improvement & sharing best practice
- Proactive partnering with GS and BS CoE with the mutual goal of delivering best business outcomes
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses for business partners across the organisations (sales directors, supply chain; Capital Investments etc)
- Monitor analysis and interpretation of macroeconomic environment to propose adequate financial actions
- Compliance with J&J Records Retention rules and HCC/HCBI/IAPP requirements
- Ad hoc tasks & analysis as required
Knowledge/Experience/Skills required
- Qualified with professional Accountancy body (eg CIMA, ACCA) withpost qualified experience
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with an ability to influence people at all levels
- Ability to analyse the financial data ensuring that it makes business sense
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Experience of SAP
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Ability to contribute and work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead where necessary
- Methodical approach with a commitment to accuracy & timeliness of analysis
- Strong continuous improvement mind set
- There will be extra demands around the month end and quarterly reporting deadlines
- An ability to adjust to changing timetables and short lead times is frequently required
