Communication Manager - Pharma/HIV experience essential

- Extensive post-graduate experience in a communications environment
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Extensive experience of working in healthcare product communications, with product launch experience
- Extensive experience of working with disease awareness
- Experience in delivering communications campaigns at global and country-level
- Strong project management skills
- Experience working with digital channels including websites and social media
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and be able to deal with ambiguity and handle sensitive situations
- Calm under pressure, resilient and flexible
- Persuasive and personable - ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and suppliers

The Global Communications Team is looking for someone to join the team to support:
our external and internal communications activities for our strategic initiatives focussed on understanding the evolving treatment needs of people living with HIV.
our external and internal communications efforts to support an upcoming industry leading global product launch
Key responsibilities:
To support and execute the above brand communications plan, working closely with the Global External and Internal Product Communications Director and our agency team
Deliver external and internal communications activities to build awareness on the unmet needs of physicians and PLHIV when considering treatment options, at global level and for LOCs
Deliver external and internal communications on the introduction of a new treatment paradigm in HIV
To support the execution of the global tactical plan for a global product launch, working closely with the Global External and Internal Product Communications Director and our agency team:
Deliver communication plan and materials to support the global product launch working cross functionally with ViiV Healthcare and GSK, including media strategy, global launch media materials and execution, internal communication materials and execution
Deliver external and internal communication plan and materials to support LOCs with in country product comms launch
