Cash and Banking Change and Training Adviser: GBP pd: 6-Months: Sunbury
The Cash and Banking Transformation (C&BT) programme is sponsored by Treasury and GBS to modernize and transform cash and banking within the organisation.
Aligned with group strategy, it will simplify and increase the value of our banking relationships, create additional value by improving cash and liquidity management and mitigate operational risk by improving security, control and reliability
This will be enabled by a single digital solution, the Cash and Banking Hub
This will move cash and banking services from a current state characterised by a complex banking architecture, diverse technical landscape, large daily cash balances held in country and unique ways of working to a future state with a single standardised operating model and technical solution across the organisation, underpinned by GBS and Treasury governance.
The programme is currently building its core team predominantly based in Sunbury and requires a change and training adviser to plan and implement a communications and training approach to support the programme.
The change and training adviser will report to the C&BT business change lead for day-to-day activities and will also have ' dotted line' to an IT&S line manager. The candidate will be required to manage some project communications planning and delivery; to prepare a training needs analysis, training plan and training content; and to ensure alignment with specific areas of the business.
Key accountabilities
- Create the C&BT programme training needs analysis and training plan
- Develop E-learning content to support the introduction of 3 new SAP modules (the Cash and Banking Hub)
- Support the development of material for new process training workshops
- Develop a tactical communications plan for the C&BT programme
- Establish and manage programme communication channels using established and new technologies, eg Intranet page/newsletter, Yammer presence, O365 tools, in line with Communications and External Affairs policy
Essential experience and job requirements
- Strong project management, communication and writing skills; decision focused and pragmatic
- Experience of E-learning training approaches and tools
- Good understanding of business change approaches on large multi-national programmes
- Experience of programme communications, training and delivery
- Experience of managing stakeholders and change networks
Desirable criteria and qualifications
- At least 5 years business experience
- Communications or Training qualifications
