Site Support (Facilities Manager)
Portsmouth
Negotiable rates of up to £300 per day
2 month initial contract
ROLE Purpose
The Site Support FM is accountable for health, safety, environment & security of the activities that take place at PTP.
This is effected through:
- representing the site specific needs and views of the occupants of the site;
- site specific infrastructure;
liaison with the site occupants to establish the requirements for:
- the provision and maintenance of the specific the site common infrastructure;
- the provision of common services;
- liaison with the service provider (generally FM but may involve other landlord and service providers) to establish service level agreements for those requirements
Key Accountabilities
Key Capabilities/Knowledge
- Good understanding of health, safety, environmental & security requirements for activities, operations & sites;
- Ability to influence across a site community of both internal and external organisations;
- Ability to challenge poor behaviours and make corrective changes in a diverse organisation;
- Ability to represent QinetiQ within local community;
- Good knowledge of statutory testing requirements and record keeping;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of managing site operations and multiple stakeholders;
- Security Clearance to be held and maintained at level appropriate for the role;
- Leadership and development of large teams to meet specific objectives;
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement and leadership facilitate successful site operations and activities.
