Cobol Analyst - Developer - Belgium
Languages: FRENCH or DUTCH with ENGLISH.
Skills and Experience:
- At least a Bachelor degree in informatics or equivalent experience.
- Experience within the financial or insurance sector is an advantage.
- Affinity with the financial domain (general ledger, financial reporting, accountancy, etc).
- An Agile mindset (work experience within a scrum team is an advantage).
- Proven experience with Cobol in a Mainframe environment.
- Knowledge of Cool:Gen is a nice to have (not a must).
- Experience with Unisys Mainframe is an advantage.
Description of work:
- Give advice & input with regard to high level scope, solution direction for Cobol applications within the Finance domain/architectural choices for one of the core applications within the Life-domain.
- Be in charge of the Features and small change requests related to those applications.
- Handle incidents and problems.
- Estimate the size and complexity of the deliverables.
- Define, build & test the solutions in regard with client needs & expectations.
- Keep the required documentation up to date in accordance with NN standards.
- Define, build & test the solutions cfr. client needs & expectations.
