Project Engineer
A PROJECT ENGINEER is required in Barcelona to assist a a market-leading client based for a long term project.
You will need to serves as interface to Platform Teams, Engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Product line (PL) in order to facilitate implementation of new Conversion, Modification & Upgrade (CM&U) offerings related to Wind Turbine;
-Work with Platforms and create Design Memos
- Ensures the alignment of ITO (Inquiry to Order) customer wants with pre-engineered capabilities and offerings leveraging the Design-to-Order (DTO, Cost & Cycle estimate) process and fulfilment
The right candidate will have the following skills:
-Ensures timely support for responses to all customer technical inquiries, meetings, and communications; this includes review of customer specifications & site data.
-Create, review, and issue technical proposals/documentation
-Support CM&U installation & commissioning activities; Control and supervise engineering schedules
-Support the Field Services organization to ensure complete technical definition of CM&Us, including Bill of Material (BoM), Field Modification Instructions (FMI), Technical Support, etc.
-Ensures timely communication of all contract and project requirements to design functions
-Lead and execute Root Cause Analysis for systemic technical and operational issues for the ECO Legacy fleet Provide technical support for major field issues and End of Warranty Reports by providing the resolution input for PAC cases
-Drive initiatives with cross-functional teams in Field Service, Repairs, Parts, Engineering and the Global supply Chain (GSC) to reduce overall wind turbine life cycle costs
-Create work instructions and troubleshooting guidelines to provide the Service teams the right tools to be more efficient.
-Work with the Fleet Programs and Project & Services team on fleet programs and punch list work to optimise preparation, implementation and downtime costs.
