Description
A global consultancy firm is looking for a talented Management Accountant to take on diverse responsibilities in relation to the month end close process. The onus will be on you to partner with stakeholders with the aim of making the process as efficient as possible.
You will work closely with local finance teams to ensure that the business is reporting an accurate and compliant portrait of their financial position. The finance team are communicative and energetic which enables them to successfully liaise with the rest of the business. Therefore, as the Management Accountant, you will be confident and outgoing to fulfil your full potential in the role.
Key responsibilities
- Managing P&L reporting and balance sheet reviews
- Dealing with business operations in the EMEA region and partnering with them on a daily basis
- Assisting the EMEA Finance team in the enhancement of month end processes including month end accounting and ensuring compliance with US GAAP & SOx
- Coordinating inter-company reconciliations entries for EMEA entities with multiple FTI group companies
- Preparation and finalisation of annual statutory accounts for UK and EMEA entities
- Direct liaison with external auditors
Qualification and Skill Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley environments
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and analysis formulas
- Self-starter, confident with outgoing personality and highly professional approach to their work
